Our 2025 Scholarship Recipients

The Nantucket Golf Club Foundation is proud to announce its 2025 scholarship recipients, recognized and celebrated at the annual scholarship announcement event on April 28, 2025. The Nantucket Scholar program, which awards two Nantucket High School graduating seniors a four-year, tuition and fees scholarship to the college or university of their choice, began in 2006. In 2018, the Professional Scholarship program was added for students who have developed a passion in a professional field throughout high school and plan to pursue post-secondary education in that field. 


The 2025 Nantucket Scholars are Biliana Dountcheva and Cecilia Wendelken. They will be attending Brown University and Maine Maritime Academy respectively. All finalists of both programs will receive a renewable scholarship to the college, university, or technical school of their choice.


The 2025 Nantucket Scholar finalists are Adney Brannigan, Andrea Bunlerssak, Viktoria Dimitrova, Elijah Holland, Boyan Kalpazanov, Madeline Lombardi, Nora Sullivan, and Owen Sullivan.



The 2025 Professional Scholarship finalists are Conrad Burns, Hansen Dalton, Cecilia Gagnon, Maddeline Muise, Merlin Orellana Rivas, Martina Savova, Tinita Sirisophapong, Curren Wiggin, Rita Wood, and Samantha Zadroga.

The 2026 Nantucket Scholars are Myah Johnson and Danielle Lewis. They will be attending Villanova University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology respectively. All finalists of both programs will receive a renewable scholarship to the college, university, or technical school of their choice. The 2026 Nantucket Scholar finalists are Annie Ard, Estella Grow, Jacob Heneke, Bianca Japp, Fiona Keltz, Sadie Paterson, Preslava Penkova, Phoenix Ray, Gaven Smith, and Sayam Thapamagar. The 2026 Professional Scholarship finalists are Emery Bouchard, Dayanara Garcia, Adriana Graham, Chelsea Gross, Charlotte Hoilman, Cora Iller, Kaitlyn Konkel, Justice Kyomitmaitee, Dorian Manov, William Martin, Carley Ray, Xavy Rivas Rondon, Ryder Tartamella, Estefany Tejada Aguilar, and Dakara Turner.

The Nantucket Golf Club Foundation is pleased to announce its Spring 2026 grant cycle. Last year, the Nantucket Golf Club Foundation granted over $1.4 million to support local nonprofits serving children and youth. Applications are due on May 1, 2026, and award notices will go out in July. Eligible organizations are encouraged to submit proposals for projects and programs that promote the positive development and enrichment of Nantucket children.

The Nantucket Golf Club Foundation is pleased to announce over $500,000 in grants awarded through its Fall 2025 grant cycle. These grants will support the work of numerous island organizations serving children and youth, including through the arts, education, essential services, and sports. The Foundation offered an additional $150,000 in matching grants to the Nantucket Lighthouse School and Montessori Children’s House of Nantucket. The Nantucket Golf Club Foundation runs two grant cycles a year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
